People rich think both.
Poor people think either/ or.
This Millionaire Mind secret from T Harv Eker on why associating with the right people is so important.
Transcript of Think Both
Hello Craig Lambie here with another life lesson from Craig. At the moment I’m sharing a series of secrets of a millionaire mind from T Harv Eker. From his book of the same name. Today is secret number 12.
Rich people think both; and
Poor people think either/ or
It’s very difficult even for me I’m still getting through this one this. It is quite a difficult concept to start to really grasp. It’s basically that as a rich mind you can creatively come up with a way to always have both both of everything. The best of everything so how do you have money and be happy. (Because a lot of us think that having money actually means that I’ll be unhappy)
Now in the book Harv talks about the fact that money is a lubricant that helps you to slide through life. Rather than just to scrape by. I think that is a really great metaphor.
There’s also a quote :
Rich people believe you can have your cake and eat it too
Middle class people believe cake is too rich so I’ll have a little piece; and
Poor people don’t believe they deserve cake so they order a doughnut focus on the hole and wonder why they have nothing
So have a look. Are you eating a little bit of cake or eating a doughnut and focusing on the hole. Or are you working out how you can have your cake and eat it too.
I came up with a fantastic recipe on the weekend of how I can still have my cake and eat it too. Even though I’m following a very strict diet that doesn’t let me have typical flour and sugar treat. I still get to have amazing food. Now you can come up with these kind of crazy solutions to these sorts of problems. Expand your mindset and become rich minded.
Because I have a millionaire mind and you can to.
Join me and let’s do it together. Cheers.
